I received the 2010 Census the other day. I got a little excited about this. Why, you may ask? Well, this is the first time I've ever gotten to participate (directly) in one!

I was quick to fill it out and return it the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.
It was very easy to complete and took only minutes, mostly because I don't have 14 kids or 20 relatives living with me!
While filling the Census out, I realized that this is just many of the "once in a lifetime" experiences that I may never get to go through again. As a result, I started thinking of all the other "once in a lifetime" events.
Like...
Having an African-American President

Watching a new Pope be elected

Gay marriages becoming legal

The 1st private space flight

Well those are all I can think of for now.
Can you think of any other "once in a lifetime" events?
